Start with consistent inputs
Every tool is only as useful as the assumptions behind it. Keep time periods, currencies and the people being modeled consistent. Distinguish selling rates from hourly costs, direct project contribution from company profit and invoice revenue from cash collected. The guides explain those distinctions so a precise-looking number does not conceal an inconsistent model. Save the assumptions alongside the result when you share it with a colleague.

Compare scenarios instead of hunting for one perfect number
Use a baseline, then change the assumption that creates the most uncertainty. Extra review hours may matter more than a small software expense. A lower billable share may materially change the required hourly rate. A retainer’s staffing mix may be more important than its headline fee. Download separate results and explain the decision each scenario supports rather than treating the default example as a benchmark.

Your data stays in the current tab
The calculators and invoice generator run in the browser. They do not submit inputs to a server, create an account or save your work after a reload. CSV and HTML downloads are generated locally when you request them. This makes the tools useful for quick planning, but it also means you should save a result before closing the page. There is no account history to recover later.
05 / USEFUL BEFORE YOU SIGN UP
Connect repeated decisions to the live work
A free tool is a good starting point for a quote, a review or a single commercial question. As the agency grows, repeated manual entry can create stale assumptions. Flowboard’s paid workspace connects projects, time, costs and client context so ongoing reviews can use the operational record. The free tools remain available whether or not you use that workspace; they are practical utilities, not gated demos.
THE PRACTICAL DETAILS
Questions, answered.
Do I need a credit card?
No. These standalone tools require no signup or card. The separate paid Flowboard workspace trial has its own card-required terms.
Can I download the results?
Yes. Calculators export CSV. The invoice generator exports HTML and CSV, with PDF saving through your browser print dialog.
Will my inputs be saved?
No. They are held only in the current page session. Download before refreshing or closing the tab.
