Account information: Name, email address, and organization name when you sign up.

Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and performance metrics to improve the Service. We use privacy-friendly analytics that do not track individual users across websites.

Business data: Projects, tasks, time entries, invoices, contacts, and other data you input into the platform. This data belongs to you.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: (a) provide and maintain the Service; (b) process payments; (c) send transactional emails (invoices, password resets); (d) improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns; (e) respond to support requests.

We do not: sell your data, share it with advertisers, use it to train AI models, or monetize it in any way.

3. Data Storage and Security

All data is encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS 1.3). We use PostgreSQL with row-level security, ensuring workspace data is fully isolated between organizations. Backups are encrypted and retained for 30 days.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days. You can export your data at any time before deletion.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management only. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party cookies. No cookie consent banner is needed because we only use strictly necessary cookies.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payment processing), Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (CDN and security). Each service has its own privacy policy governing their handling of data.

8. Children's Privacy

Flowboard is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
